We saw a trend toward teams made up of people who were spread across regions or even countries, creating a need for team building events for dispersed teams, that was not being addressed. Collaborating and problem solving online in many ways is more difficult than in person sessions and requires more focus on good communication skills, better organization and a higher level of trust among the team members. As more and more teams move to a virtual model, the need for bonding and working together as a is higher than ever. Teams need to find ways to break down the barriers to effective collaboration in an virtual setting.
